Currently, Vinu is a Product Owner at Integra Connect. Here, he functions as the product manager and owner of Integra Connect’s Electronic Health Record product.
When asked how he ended up in Product Management, “It’s interesting,” Vinu says. “I didn’t really set out to be a product manager. I was working in a different field, and a mentor identified my potential to succeed as a product manager, then offered me a job!”
So, what exactly excited Vinu Natarajan so much about his current career path? The number of CEOs who began their careers functioning in a product management capacity is significant. Sundar Pichai, Michael Dell, Jeff Bezos — the list goes on. “The interesting thing about serving as a PM is that no one really directly reports to you, yet you are, in some way, responsible for the success of all the people you’re working with. That’s one of the things I love most about my position; thinking strategically and creatively is a lot of fun for me.”
Before that, Vinu served as the Training Manager at Integra, and before that, as the Project Manager of Business Development & Sales Operations.
Vinu Natarajan completed the Executive Program at MIT Sloan School of Management, where he focused on Blockchain Technologies and its possible business applications. Vinu holds a PMC-II certification in pragmatic marketing from the Pragmatic Institute.
In addition to his work as a Product Manager, Vinu Natarajan has had a successful run as an audio engineer. A trained musician since he was a child, Vinu’s trajectory in music saw him through orchestra and cover bands in middle and high school before discovering electronic music in India when he was about 15. From there, Vinu fell in love with the music and began his work as a DJ, and from there as a producer and audio engineer, having studied Recording Arts at Full Sail University.
